Using Rivet's Mac and PC applications, you can now send any NDI source on your network over SRT to integrate with remote production. Or, you can decode an SRT stream and make it available as an NDI stream on your network. Check out the latest Rivet How To for a look at how Rivet can utilize a NDI source.
NDI Input:
Rivet will recognize any NDI streams as a Video Source, as long as the device is on the same network as the NDI source.
Click on the Video Source dropdown menu and select the NDI stream.
Click on the Audio Source and select the corresponding stream.
The Source Resolution will automatically adjust to the resolution from the NDI feed.
Click Start Broadcast when you are ready to start the stream.
NDI Outputs:
Rivet allows you to stream NDI outputs. This is only a feature for Program Feed streams.
A Program Feed stream pulls an output from a decoder and sends it to the Rivet app for viewing. This can be used to send a feed to a team member out in the field or a client watching a show remotely.
Open the app and click on Settings.
Under the NDI Output Settings, enable Video and Audio. Press Ok.
Click Start Playback.
Now your stream will be outputting an NDI feed. For example, I’m going to bring this feed into vMix.
Go to Add Inputs - NDI/Desktop Capture and select the Rivet output.
