Go to Rivet Dashboard and click Create Stream.
Add a Stream Name.
The contributor cam is automatically enabled. Uncheck the box if you just want a Program Feed.
Copy the SRT Address from the decoder and paste it into the Decoder Address field. Rivet will automatically move the port number over to the Port Field.

Click on the Latency field to adjust latency. Rivet accepts anything in the 120-4000 ms range.
Paste in the Stream ID from the decoder if it requires one.
Click on the Resolution dropdown menu and select a resolution.
Rivet supports these resolutions:
- 360p
- 480p
- 720p
- 1080p
- 2160p
4K is only supported on Windows and Mac, as long as the webcam or video source is 4K compatible.
Click on the FPS dropdown menu and select a frame rate.
Rivet supports these frame rates:
- 25fps
- 30fps
- 50 fps
- 60fps
Click on the Video Bitrate dropdown menu or type in a bitrate. Rivet supports anything between 700kbps - 20,000kbps.
Click on the Audio Bitrate dropdown menu and select a bitrate.
Rivet supports these Audio Bitrates:
- 96 kbps
- 128 kbps
- 192 kbps
- 256 kbps.
Enable Encryption if the decoder requires a passphrase.
Rivet supports AES128, AES192, and AES256. Paste in the passphrase.
Enable Multisync if you have multiple inputs that need to be synchronized. Paste in the URL from your NTP Server.
Enable Program Feed if you want to send a stream to the Rivet App. Paste in the encoder address or toggle on Same as the Contributor Camera if you want to send the same feed as the Contributor Camera.
Toggle on the Same as Contributor Camera if you want the Program Feed latency to match the Contributor Camera.
You can also uncheck the box and type in a latency.
Paste in the Stream ID from the encoder if it requires one.
Paste in the Passphrase if the encoder requires one. Rivet supports AES128, AES192, and AES256.
Enable a Start Date and Expiration Date if you want the stream to be available for a set amount of time.
Enable Hide Rivet Information if you want the SRT addresses and Encryption passwords hidden from the Rivet App view.
Check Enable Telemetry to get live stream statistics and the ability to update settings when the stream is active.
Once everything is configured, click Create Stream.
